FAQ

Q - Do I need a credit card when staying with LivingSpace Invercargill?

A - Yes, these details need to be provided to secure a reservation and will cover any incidentals, for instance telephone calls. If you do not have a credit card, no problem, please just contact us directly and we will be able to make alternative arrangements.

Q - What Credit Cards are accepted at LivingSpace Hotels & Apartments?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners, JCB & American Express.

Q - Do you have disabled rooms available?

We certainly welcome special needs guests to our hotel. If you require this particular room type please contact us directly and we will accommodate accordingly.

Q - Can I check into my room early?

A - Our check out time is 10.00 am and of course we need time to clean our rooms before you check in at 2.00 pm. At times our rooms are ready to occupy prior to 2.00 pm and therefore you are very welcome to check in early however this is completely subject to availability and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Q - Can I guarantee an early check-in?

A - Absolutely, the night prior to your arrival can be booked and paid for therefore removing the need to wonder if your room is going to be ready.

Q - What time do I need to check out of my room?

A - Check Out time is 10.00 am. A late check can be requested and we will endeavour to cater for this however this request is purely subject to availability. A late check out beyond 12.00 noon will incur additional charges.

Q - I'm arriving really late or leaving very early, is this a problem?

A - Not at all, LivingSpace Invercargill is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year. If you are arriving late please let us know what time this will be and a staff member will be at our reception to check you in. If you intend to depart early in the morning we ask that you settle your account the night prior.

Q - Is their a place that I can store my luggage?

A - Yes, no problems at all as we can store your bags in our storage facility so you can go and enjoy your day without having to lug your bags around with you. We can even arrange for a taxi or shuttle to pick you up at a designated time. This service is complimentary to all guests who are staying with us.

Q - What does my room include?

A - All studios & apartment include a comfortable bed, telephone, Sky television, high speed internet connection, bathroom, kitchenettes (studio) or kitchen (apartments), radiator heating, hairdryer, iron & ironing board.

Q - Can I request the same room that I stayed in last time?

A - Most certainly a particular room can be requested and we will do everything possible to ensure we can accommodate your request however this is purely subject to availability.

Q - Will my room be serviced whilst I'm staying at LivingSpace?

A - Our full normal daily rates include servicing. At various times we have specials available via various channels such as last minute websites, our own website and promotions via our preferred suppliers. These often will not include servicing however this will be clearly noted and/or pointed out to you by our staff. Extra housekeeping servicing is available for an additional charge by contacting reception.

Q - Can I prepay my accommodation?

A - Yes, please contact us directly by email and we can advise our bank account details. Our email is Invercargill@livingspace.net

Q - Is there parking available?

A - Yes, on-site parking is provided free of charge and is based on a first come first serve basis.

Q - Do I need to bring my own linen?

A - Whilst we offer excellent value in our rates we certainly provide all linen, crockery and cutlery to help you enjoy your stay with us.

Q - Can I cook in my room?

A - All of our rooms feature a microwave, kettle and jug. Full cooking facilities are provided in our commercial kitchens located on Level Two & Three. It's recommended that full cooking be prepared in our kitchens as a courtesy to our future guests and of course allowing you the most comfortable sleep with us.

Q - Can I store sporting items in my room?

A - Large items such as surf boards, road bikes, and mountain bikes unfortunately can not be placed in guest rooms as they compromise our fire safety regulations. We are able to store these items in our storage facility however these would be at a guests own risk and we always recommend travel insurance.

Q - Can I fit extra visitors into my room when I'm staying?

A - The following are the maximum number that our rooms can accommodate. These numbers are non negotiable and are requirements that are set out as part of our safety obligations.

Cots are available to fit all of our room types except our studios and are limited to one per room type. These are provided on a complimentary basis and are subject to availability.

Q - What is your smoking policy?

A - Please respect our no smoking policy anywhere inside the building. Smoking is permitted on the second, third and fourth floor balconies adjoining the kitchen/dining area. A charge of $100 NZD will be incurred by a guest found to be smoking inside our building. Please be considerate to future guests.

Q - Do you have balconies?

A - LivingSpace Invercargill has outdoor areas located on our first, second and fourth floors.

Q - Do you have an on-site restaurant?

A - There are no food and beverage facilities on site however you are spoilt for choice with an extensive selection of Bar's and restaurant's with in an easy 5 minutes of our front door.
